• LBS - location search using the nearest GSM antenna of the mobile operator. LBS is a web of communication, it is divided into sectors, each of which is responsible for a tower. The system is not completely accurate and its calculations can be from 100 to 1000 m, it depends on the number of towers of your operator in this area. Only it will be able to determine, albeit inaccurately, geolocation where the GPS signal does not pass, for example, through thick walls of a building, or where there is no Wi-Fi.
• GPS is the most accurate way to determine coordinates using a direct connection to a satellite. The accuracy is 5-10 m, but in bad weather and near tall buildings, the connection may deteriorate. The operation of GPS in open spaces is checked through the programs on the maps, but if the watch is far away, you can send an SMS with the command "pw,123456,ts#" on the parent's phone.
• Wi-Fi - this module is used only for finding coordinates indoors. It often happens that the GPS signal disappears or becomes weaker in buildings, in such cases Wi-Fi is automatically turned on. It does not show the place where the gadget is located, but the Wi-Fi address of the point detected by the watch. The accuracy of the address depends on the strength of the signal and the more precise prescribed coordinates to the Wi-Fi access point and can be 10-40 meters. An important point - to determine the location of the Wi-Fi watch, you do not need to know the password, it is enough to catch the signal.

The battery drains quickly

The watch in active mode holds a charge for about 24 hours. In standby mode - up to 48 hours. The watch must have a SIM card installed with an activated tariff plan that includes mobile Internet (if the mobile Internet is not active or the SIM card has a zero balance for using the Internet, the smart watch is constantly searching for a mobile network, which leads to a reboot clock, overheating, battery discharge in 3-5 hours). In the clock settings, you can reduce the brightness of the display, which also affects the device's operating time. In the Setracker application, it is possible to choose 3 watch search frequency modes (Geolocation mode): every 10 minutes, every hour and manually receive positioning. This feature also affects the watch's battery life. To optimize battery life and mobile traffic, use the function of manually obtaining geolocation in the application (Setracker).

Also, frequent exchange of text and voice messages or receiving SMS from the mobile network operator can be the reason for the rapid discharge of the device (they must be turned off in the SIM card settings or by calling the operator).

The SOS key works with a delay

The SOS key works when pressed and held for 5 to 7 seconds. This is done to prevent an accidental call.

The pedometer does not work or does not start

The pedometer in the children's watch is launched only with the help of the Setrecker application. Its further use is possible through the application in the watch.

The device is not on the network, geolocation does not work

This is possible only if there is no money in the account or there is no mobile Internet. Top up your account or activate mobile internet.

Does not see the SIM card or the connection is lost
