The Gelius brand supported "AMI-SHID"
We could not stand aside when representatives of the NGO "AMI-SHID" approached us. In its activities, the organization supports children and adults with disabilities, as well as their families, taking into account especially vulnerable categories: youth, women, children - those who are forced to temporarily change their place of residence or have lost their health as a result of the military conflict in the east of our country.
Gelius supported the "AMI-SHID" initiative and provided charitable assistance in the form of pulse oximeters for the most vulnerable population of Luhansk region and IDPs throughout Ukraine. They were transferred to the following organizations:
- Kreminsk regional special school.
- Communal Institution "Rubizhan Regional Special School "Kryshtalyk".
- Severodonetsk territorial organization UTOS.
- Non-governmental organization "DIA World" (children with diabetes).
- "Mama Die" public organization.
- Theater group of people with disabilities "My together".
- KZ "Lysychan Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children".
- Public organization "The Way of Good" in the city of Uman.
- Public organization "Union of active women "VULIK" in the city of Poltava.
- Communal rehabilitation institution of mixed type Lviv city rehabilitation center "Zherelo".
The devices were also sent to families of immigrants who raise children with disabilities in the city of Sviatohirsk, Odesa, Korostyshiv, Tyachiv, Chernivtsi region.
Children with disabilities are at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is very important not only to prevent the disease, but also to control the work of the lungs in case of disease. In new realities, this device stands guard over the health of every person. By monitoring the oxygen saturation of the blood, it is possible to suspect the disease in time and take the necessary measures.
