The results of good deeds of December
New Year and Christmas holidays bring an atmosphere of family coziness and warmth. At this time, everyone expects a miracle - big and small. And we, in turn, are happy to join in the creation of miracles for those who need it now.
This time, in addition to the results of charity projects in December, we decided to share with you the emotions of those we supported.
At the beginning of the month, as part of Generous Tuesday, we supported the "Keep life" fund and computer IT courses "Smile to future" for 20 children.
Gifts and miracles happen not only from us, but also for us - in September, we provided financial assistance for the purchase of the valuable drug "Ketruda" for Misha, who was undergoing cancer treatment in Kyiv. While sending him a holiday gift, we learned that he had finally recovered and had gone to Zaporizhzhia to visit his relatives. This is a great and valuable feeling of involvement in saving a child's life.
2020 taught us how to adapt to new realities and invent new formats for online meetings and activities. Therefore, on the eve of Nicholas Day, we held an online master class on gingerbread painting for 30 children deprived of parental care from the City of Happy Children.
It is symbolic that the children painted gingerbread houses in the shape of houses. We sincerely wish every child loving parents and a happy family!
During December, we sent New Year's gifts to 200 children who found themselves in difficult life circumstances.
Gifts were also sent to children who are still undergoing treatment at the Cancer Institute and the Children's Neurosurgery Department of Okhmatdyt.
We are grateful to all charitable organizations and foundations that support children and their families in difficult moments of life.
Among them is the charity fund for palliative care "LaVita", for the wards of which we gave gifts. The fund takes care of terminally ill children. Perhaps for some of them, this new year will be the last, and this time, in addition to feelings and sympathy, the children received positive emotions, new impressions and a festive mood. Joy from gifts is very difficult and priceless.
We also joined the support of children staying in boarding schools, joining our efforts together with the organizations "Helping children" and "Children to Children".
In addition, gifts were received by children who live in the gray zone of Luhansk region, and it was extraordinary emotions for them.
As part of the development of the donor movement in collaboration with Donor.ua and the Park Inn by Radisson hotel, we managed to hold the "Warmest Donor Day", where 35 people, including employees of the Gelius brand, became blood donors and received our blood banks as a gift with a memorable application.
December seemed generous for important affairs and deeds. In addition to gifts for children, we donated pulse oximeters and non-contact thermometers to organizations that care for children with disabilities.
In total, the Gelius brand partnered with 10 charitable organizations in December and supported social activities for 240,000 hryvnias.
